Moldovan deputy premier for reintegration Vasilii Șova at a government meeting on Friday said that Moldovan officials will be able to make private trips to Transnistria from September 16 without written notice. Moldovan Prime Minister Maia Sandu addressed to participants in the 5+2 format with a request to help remove restrictions for Moldovan officials to visit the territory of Transnistria. “As part of the negotiation process on the Transnistrian settlement, it was agreed to cancel written notices for Moldovan officials to visit Transnistria and travel through this region. For private trips and transit so far,” said Vasilii Șova. The deputy premier expressed hope that the new mechanism will be functional and the parties will not have to introduce additional measures. He expressed gratitude to the colleagues from Transnistria and to the international partners who contributed to this agreement being reached. Point
