OSCE Secretary General to discuss destruction of Russian ammunition in Moldova and Transnistria

OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger will visit Moldova from 17 to 19 September for talks with high-level officials in Chisinau and the political leadership in Tiraspol. During his first visit Greminger will discuss potential areas of OSCE engagement to support the reform agenda of the Republic of Moldova as well as the role the OSCE can play in ensuring transparency in the removal and destruction of Russian ammunition and armaments and in co-ordination of financial and technical assistance offered to facilitate their withdrawal and destruction.
