There are negotiations in the ruling coalition on the separation of some major ministries and on which the possibility for the socialists to be more widely represented in the government, stated the chair of the PSRM group Vlad Batrîncea on September 27. In turn, the vice speaker, MP from Action and Solidarity Party Mihai Popșoi did not confirm these statements, but mentioned that the Action and Solidarity Party was interested in all the coalition members supporting this Government, IPN reports.
Batrîncea says that PSRM and ACUM bloc are holding talks so that the socialists could assume responsibility for a number of ministries. “We also carry out negotiations regarding many structures, companies that could be led with the participation of the Socialists. This activity takes time”, mentioned Vlad Batrîncea (cited by IPN).
In turn, Popșoi says that the Action and Solidarity Party is interested that their bloc colleagues, PPDA, and the PSRM support this Government. According to him, it is not constructive to view the Government as pertaining to one party, while members of other parties feel as if they were in opposition. “We are interested in the fact that all the coalition members have the same goals – for this Government to work efficiently and to deal with the problems assumed both in the election campaign and through the agreements signed by the coalition members,” said Popșoi (cited by IPN).
