The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Krykliy said that restoration of air communications with Russia is not expected in the near future. In his opinion, this can be perceived as a signal of the absence of contradictions between countries. The minister also believes that this is dangerous for the Ukrainians. “I do not want MH17 to happen again. It is simply dangerous for the Ukrainians. It seems to me that we need to have some kind of suicidal attitude in order to propose the restoration of air communications. I’m not even talking about geopolitics,” said Mr. Krikliy in an interview for epravda.com.ua. At the same time, Ukraine does not intend to cut off railway communication with Russia. “If we make a decision to completely be isolated from Russia, this is another decision,” the minister said.
