The President of Ukraine also instructed to urgently repair two roads and a bridge in the Luhansk region. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the government to simplify the entry of people and the movement of goods into the “Temporarily occupied and uncontrolled territories of Ukraine”, states decree, published on Monday, October 7. The head of state also ordered the urgent repair of two roads in the Luhansk region, the restoration of the destroyed bridge across the Siverskyi Donets River and the entry and exit construction points, including Stanytsia Luhanska. Ukraine stopped freight rail and road connections with the territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions in March 2017. The then president Petro Poroshenko said that this was a necessary step in response to Russia’s actions.
