Pavel Filip stated that the Democratic Party would be reformed in the first half of 2020, noting the party designed a reformation plan that is to be discussed with representatives of the local organizations after the winter holidays, ipn.md reports. “I do not want to examine particular elements apart. I want to examine fundamental positions of the party. Those who will resist amid such a background will form part of the PDM, while those who will not will leave,” the Democratic leader said for TVC21 channel. Pavel Filip said the party is going through a difficult period after it had been in power one way or another and this surely affected the party in general and the Democratic parliamentary party in particular. He denied the press reports that there is split in the party. “I hope the party will remain undivided until the next parliamentary elections,” he stated. He added that the former leader of the PDM Vladimir Plahotniuc does not exert any influence on the party. “The decisions are taken by us, in a democratic way. There are discussions inside the party. That’s why those who think that someone exerts influence on the party from outside are wrong,” he said. Point
