Concluding his working visit to Strasbourg, President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon held an informal meeting with Council of Europe officials and ambassadors accredited to the Council of Europe. The parties discussed a number of issues related to the domestic and foreign policies of the Republic of Moldova, interethnic relations and the Transdniestrian settlement. In addition, Igor Dodon noted that the reform of justice, which affects almost all activity aspects of institutions and people’s lives, remains the number one priority for the current government of Moldova, moldpres.md reports. After the opening remarks, the head of state answered many questions of those present, and appreciated external partners’ strong interest in the Republic of Moldova. The President added that our country counts on the support of the Council of Europe, including the Venice Commission, in implementing the planned reforms.
