The Head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that “after the troubled2019 year Moldova is committed to turning 2020 into the year of growth, transformation and reform.”

Ion Chicu presented the agenda which is to be implemented both in the external and internal political plan, actualitati.md reports.

“The cornerstones of our approach? Those who got used to observing what is happening in Moldova as a geopolitical struggle will be disappointed: European integration, enhanced cooperation with our western and eastern partners, the strengthening of democracy and the rule of law and solid economic growth will be the foundations that guide our efforts "- the prime minister said.

“Inside the country, the government will focus on public works, especially road infrastructure and the energy sector because they provide competitiveness and make the country an attractive destination for investment and job creation. At the same time, we trust the smart and responsible role of the state which can improve public services, including healthcare and education; also improve the digital sphere determining the economic profile and competitive advantages which would allow us to create the 21 century’s economy and to be among the winners of the automation of the fourth industrial revolution "- Ion Chicu considered.

The prime minister believes that Moldova is ready to receive new investments and the government will cooperate with everyone whose goal is to create jobs and opportunities.

“The political drama in Moldova is over,” Ion Chicu said.
