Poll: In the Presidential Race Dodon Secures 34.9% of Votes, Sandu 24.5%

If the next presidential election took place on Sunday, the PSRM candidate would have won the most votes, followed by PAS and PDM. These are the data from a survey submitted by IMAS at the Public media consulting company’s request, protv.md reports. Thus, 34.9% are ready to vote for Igor Dodon, 24.5% for Maia Sandu, and 8.0% for Pavel Filip. The study did not specify what could happen in the second round, where Maia Sandu and Igor Dodon would compete. The survey was conducted by IMAS at the request of the Public media consulting company in the period of February 7-19, 2020, on a sample of 1109 respondents aged 18 years and older.
