The government has included in the privatization list the state-owned enterprise Metalferos and a number of other entities and companies. This decision was made on Wednesday at a cabinet meeting. In addition to Metalferos (78.2% of the shares), the state-owned enterprises Sanfarm-Prim (99.1%), Vinuri Ialoveni (60.4%), Alimentarmas (30%), IT-CAFE (100%), Casa Editoriala ITMOLDOVA (25%) and Metrompas (11.2%) were forwarded for privatization.infotag.md reports At the same time, the state-owned enterprises Reţelele Electrice de Distribuţie Nord, Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord, the national telecommunications operator Moldtelecom, CIMS-73, Nodul Hidroenergetic Costeşti and the recreation center in Ukraine "Mechta" were excluded from the privatization list. Prime Minister Ion Chicu called on the State Property Agency and other institutions to organize the process of privatization and sale of property in accordance with the law, and also asked the media to help monitor the process so that "state assets are sold in the most efficient way."
