A wide range of topics related to bilateral relations was addressed, and the sides exchanged information on measures taken by the governments of Moldova and China to prevent the spread of COVID-19, moldpres.md reports. “We strictly follow the WHO recommendations. The experience of our colleagues from other countries in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic is very important. We are also thinking about the economic consequences of the pandemic. We will continue large-scale investment projects in the field of infrastructure in order to mitigate the crisis effects. We are working to identify some credit lines for the private sector,” Ion Chicu said. Zhang Yinghong reaffirmed the willingness of the Chinese government to provide the necessary technical and information assistance. “I have gained enough experience in these two months. The situation in China has improved, enterprises are resuming their activities,” the ambassador noted. The Chinese government is offering Moldova a batch of 1000 tests to detect COVID-19, which will be available soon.
