The Chairman of the Democratic Party (PDM) Pavel Filip stated that in the summer of 2019 in the United States he met with former PDM leader Vladimir Plahotniuc. Statements on this subject were made in the program Punctul pe Azi, tvrmoldova.md reported. According to him, the meeting took place in early July 2019 and was agreed by both parties. “I do not know why a sensation is made of this. It’s true, I saw him. We had to clarify some things. I wanted to understand for myself whether he would continue to intervene in the affairs of the PDM. I had to understand how to further proceed,” Pavel Filip said.
