Slusari: DA Platform Will Be Able to Form a Government without Shor and Candu

A new ruling majority formation in parliament is still on the agenda. The Chicu government stays afloat as yet, but its opponents are ready for new confrontations. The situation was commented on by Alexandru Slusari, vice speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, the Platform Dignity and Truth Party vice chairman, enews.md reports. “We have already announced our main condition. We offer the DA Platform government, we have developed a program. And if it is voted for, we immediately begin to form a workable cabinet. An alliance with Candu-Shor is absolutely impossible, and we have never even discussed this option,” Slusari said. - Do you have enough worthy candidates for ministerial seats? “Certainly. And it will be not only our party members. We will invite professionals from various structures, from NGOs. There are non-corrupted forces, competent, educated, with extensive experience. But without Shor and Candu, this is the only way we see the new government construction. There is no other way,” the politician said. Slusari claims with confidence there are no odious persons in his party. “We guarantee that there will be no oligarchs in the new government, we will never rely on them. And the way Igor Dodon acts today is abnormal. We are ready to take responsibility to save the country,” Slusari said. - And what are the chances for you to be backed in the parliament, because you need 52 votes? “We have made proposals, and we’ll see what happens next. Maia Sandu said they are open to discussion. I think we will be able to convince our colleagues that we can take reasonable actions,” the politician expressed hope.
