Andrei Nastase told that the DA Platform initiated a declaration on the occupied state and explained what this declaration meant. Nastase stated this in the Glavnoye program on TVC-21. “We thought that the declaration would be the foundation for changes in the Republic of Moldova. We understood that the country was occupied, and all the institutions of power were controlled by one person. At that time it was necessary to implement laws that would lead to changes in society. People would feel that there is normal justice, prosperity, impartiality, the right to freedom of speech and information. This is what we were striving for. We started on this path, but in November someone decided that we should interrupt the work we had started," Nastase said. The DA Platform leader also added that since the June 2019events Moldova is still an occupied state.
