French President Emmanuel Macron accepted the Russian President Vladimir Putin’s offer to pay a visit to the Russian Federation, the press service of the Champs Elysees informed on Friday, June 26. The date of Macron’s trip is still unknown; he may arrive in Moscow before the end of this year, taking into account the situation with the coronavirus pandemic development. Previously, Putin and Macron had been discussing the conflict in Libya for almost two hours in a video conference. "Both states are interested in stabilizing the crisis in this North African country," the Champs Elysees said. They also noted that during the conversation, the presidents discussed the differences between their countries on the Libyan issue, for example, within the alleged Russian mercenaries presence in Libya.
