Russia extended for another six months, until December 31, 2020, duty-free import of a number of goods from Moldova, including fruits, vegetables and wine, the government’s decree said. As follows from a document published on the official legal information portal, we are talking about the application of zero duties in relation to vegetables, fresh fruits and berries, canned vegetables and wine, ria.ru  reported. Separately, the decree noted zero import customs duty introducing on sunflower seeds (for the period until December 31, 2020). Last week, President of Moldova Igor Dodon announced that Russia agreed to extend the duty-free supply of Moldovan goods after June 30 this year. According to him, this measure will allow Moldovan producers saving at least 20-25 million euros per year. Starting January 1, 2019, Russia canceled for six months import duties of a number of goods from Moldova; subsequently, this rule was extended several times.
