President of Moldova Igor Dodon congratulated his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko for winning presidential elections.
"On behalf of the Moldovan people and on my own behalf, I wish them great success in achieving their goals for the sake of and for the good of the Republic of Belarus," the message on the head of state's Facebook page stated.
Igor Dodon is confident that the productive dialogue and close cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Belarus in various areas will contribute to the further relations strengthening between our countries and people in a constructive way.
Recall, presidential elections in Belarus took place on August 9. According to preliminary CEC data the incumbent head of state Lukashenko is gaining 80.23% of the vote.
