The Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) chairman Vlad Filat is confident that early parliamentary elections will take place in the Republic of Moldova.
At the same time, Filat is confident that the PLDM, including himself, will participate in the possible parliamentary elections, agora.md reported.
“I am sure that expectations will come true. This parliament was elected on the basis of a corrupt system. This parliament is not representative. I do not think that this parliament is capable of forming a government, which, in turn, will cope with numerous crises,” said the PLDM leader during program time Puterea a Patra N4.
“The PLDM will definitely take part in these elections, and I will definitely take part,” Filat said.
Note that the PLDM nominated Tudor Deliu as its candidate for the November 1 presidential elections.
When asked why is not him a presidential candidate from the party, Filat replied: “I have a vision of what a president should be like. And I believe that Tudor Deliu meets these qualities.”
