Spunik Belarus specified, the presidents will meet in Sochi. The talks will be held in a one-on-one format.
Putin and Lukashenko will discuss prospects for cooperation within the Union State and the situation in Belarus, the press service of the Belarusian president said.
This visit will be Lukashenka's first trip abroad since winning the election.
Voting ended on August 9. According to the CEC calculations, Lukashenko won 80.1 percent of the vote. The opposition did not agree with these results.
After the elections, mass protests are held in different cities of the republic. At first, the security forces suppressed them, using tear gas, water cannons, stun grenades and rubber bullets against the protesters. Then the use of force was abandoned.
According to official data, over 6.7 thousand people were detained in the first days. As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic, hundreds of people were injured during the riots, including over 130 law enforcement officers. The authorities have officially confirmed the deaths of three protesters.
