Today, head of state Maia Sandu addressed a message to the diplomatic corps. An online meeting with Moldovan ambassadors abroad was also attended by Foreign Minister and Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi, unimedia.info reports. "You know that we have difficult relations with Russia. There are many areas in which we cooperate, many of our citizens live in Russia, we have traditional trade relations, but there are also issues of disagreement. I want to point out that we want to overcome all problems through dialogue and constructive relationships. Such relations also imply respect for our neutrality, including by solving the situation which we face today, both in the process of the Transdniestrian settlement, and in connection with the presence of Russian troops on the territory of our country," Sandu said.
