Socialist leader Igor Dodon said that on March 25, in parliament, the presence of a parliamentary majority to support the PSRM-nominated candidate for prime minister will be confirmed. Dodon noted that so far none of the 53 deputies has withdrawn the signature put in support of the candidacy of Vladimir Golovatiuc for the post of head of government, zdg.md reports. “The signatures were put on March 18 by 53 deputies and none of them was withdrawn. These signatures are valid. I believe that in parliament we will once again confirm the presence of a parliamentary majority to support candidate Golovatiuc for the post of prime minister,” Dodon said. According to Dodon, the socialists "will fight for the appointment of Vladimir Golovatiuc, the PSRM candidate for the post of prime minister." “We will fight for our candidate Vladimir Golovatiuc, we will fight against Maia Sandu to the end. We will not go over corpses to hold early parliamentary elections. PSRM wants elections, but not in the current conditions, when dozens of people are dying because of the virus,” Dodon added.
