American leader Joe Biden is going to discuss the situation around Ukraine during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This announced on Wednesday, April 28, Biden's national security adviser Jake Sullivan on the air of the MSNBC TV channel, NV reported. Sullivan noted that during a telephone conversation between Biden and Putin, the American president expressed concern about the buildup of Russian troops near the Ukrainian border. He clarified that Biden offered Putin a negotiation option that would allow both of them to discuss various aspects of relations between the countries, including the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. "This is what we intend to do in the future - to support Ukraine but we intend to do this through high-level diplomatic communication and not by issuing public ultimatums," he added. Earlier it was reported that the meeting between the presidents of Russia Vladimir Putin and the United States, Joe Biden will take place in the summer. Also, Biden said that Washington and Moscow are currently considering the possibility of holding a meeting of the Russian Federation and the United States’ leaders this summer in Europe.
