President Maia Sandu received her first coronavirus vaccination today, May 7. The head of state was vaccinated at the clinic of the State Chancellery in Chisinau. The injected drug is AstraZeneca-produced serum. Earlier, Maia Sandu announced that she will be vaccinated against COVID-19 when the immunization of people from the category of citizens to which she belongs begins. She also noted that she will be vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine, which is currently most common in Moldova thanks to donations from Romania and through the COVAX platform.
