The leader of the Democratic Party Pavel Filip regrets that the party he leads participates in the forthcoming elections without the Action and Solidarity Party.
According to Filip, DPM would benefit from such an alliance, because PAS has great chances of getting into parliament and has a good image among the majority of voters,
realitatea.md reports.
"I think it would be good to have a bloc of pro-European parties, but we heard the PAS statements from the very beginning. Therefore, no attempt was made to create such a block.
I did not consider it necessary and I do not think that the creation of electoral blocs with other political parties can benefit us in this situation. Together with the PAS, such an alliance would be logical, because PAS has a good image, while the DPM has a much more developed party infrastructure that could be used in the event of an electoral bloc," Pavel Filip said on the air of the program on TV8.
The democrat is convinced that the DPM will enter the parliament, noting that human resources will be their main resource in this campaign.
