Today, Chisinau will receive a new batch of Sputnik V vaccine, provided by the Russian Federation to the Republic of Moldova as humanitarian aid on the basis of an agreement reached by Igor Dodon and Zinaida Greceanîi with Vladimir Putin.
We are talking about 60 thousand doses - 40 thousand for the right bank of the Dniester and 20 thousand for the left one,
aif.md reports.
"The vaccine will arrive in Moldova already tonight. I know that everyone is waiting for this. In addition, we have agreed to sign an agreement for a million Sputnik V doses, and the first batches may arrive in Moldova in the very near future," the PSRM chairman said in a new video in his blog.
Dodon also noted that he himself will get vaccinated the coming Monday-Tuesday.
"On Saturday evening I will return from Moscow, on Monday or Tuesday I will be vaccinated with Sputnik V. I will do it publicly, as I promised, since I trust only the Russian vaccine," he added.
