The Treaty on Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation between Russia and China was signed in 2001. The Presidents of Russia and China, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, during video talks on Monday, June 28, announced the extension of the treaty on good-neighborliness, friendship and cooperation, the Central Television of China reports. The agreement was signed in 2001 by Putin and the previous leader of China, Jiang Zemin.
