Nuland congratulated the Action and Solidarity Party on winning the early parliamentary elections,

"I am delighted to call President Maia Sandu to congratulate her on behalf of the United States on the success of Moldova's democratic elections and to offer her our support for the government's reform agenda," Nuland wrote on her Twitter account.
Earlier, the official statement of the U.S. Department of State noted that they are looking forward to cooperation with the new government in Chisinau.
"The United States congratulates the people of Moldova on their July 11 early parliamentary elections. The elections were well administered and the fundamental freedoms were largely respected. We urge Moldovan authorities to address concerns raised by ODIHR in its report," State Department spokesperson Ned Price said.
Recall, on July 11, early parliamentary elections were held in Moldova.
