"Maia Sandu won’t be able to refrain from negotiations on gas supplies to Moldova", stated leader of the Socialists Igor Dodon.
"I cannot remember a single government for at least the last 20 years that has not participated in negotiations on gas supplies, especially since it is a shareholder of MoldovaGaz JSC", ntv.md reports.
"They are just afraid, as they know they fail to agree. They know that, unlike us, they will not be able to find acceptable conditions," Igor Dodon commented.
He reminded that gas prices in Europe are approaching the level of 900 euros per thousand cubic meters and called on the Moldovan leadership to take an example from such countries as Hungary and Serbia, whose top state officials have come to terms with Gazprom over the past few weeks and signed lucrative gas supply contracts for their countries.
