American Military Plane Lands at Chisinau Airport

The National Army received a shipment of $ 5 million worth of military equipment from the US government. According to the Ministry of Defense of Moldova, the equipment was delivered within the framework of the Plan for the Development and Transformation of the National Army in accordance with the provisions of the National Defense Strategy and the package of the Defense Capacity Building Initiative of the Republic of Moldova (DCBI). According to Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatii, this move continues the systemic reforms initiated by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova in 2018 in the context of achieving the objective of reforming and modernizing the defense and security sector of the Action Program of the Government of the Republic of Moldova in support of efforts to develop military capabilities and increase the operational capacity of the national army. “Delivery of the batch of equipment was possible due to the good cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the United States of America, established over the years.
