The head of European Union diplomacy, Josep Borrell, and Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, before the Ukraine-EU summit, discussed the deterioration of the situation in the east of our country. This is stated in the message of the EU Delegation to Ukraine on Twitter.
“This morning in Kiev, ahead of the EU-Ukraine summit, Josep Borrell discussed with Dmytro Kuleba the worsened situation in eastern Ukraine and implementation of the Minsk agreements,” the message says.
They also added that the European Union stands firmly behind Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Recall that the Ukraine-EU summit started in Kiev today with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
Earlier it was reported that an agreement on open skies is expected to be signed at the summit, which will open Ukraine to some low-cost airlines. This will significantly contribute to the growth of the country's economy in the field of tourism.
