Eamon Gilmore must make a trip to the administrative border with the annexed Crimea. EU Special Representative for Human Rights Eamon Gilmore arrived in Ukraine on his first official visit. He wrote about this on Twitter on Monday morning, October 18. “Today in Kiev I start my first official visit to Ukraine. Ahead is a busy day in this beautiful city,” he wrote. Eamon Gilmour’s planned visit to Ukraine was reported back in June this year. Then it was noted that the EU Special Representative for Human Rights should make a trip to the administrative border with the annexed Crimea. As a reminder, the Council of Europe is concerned about the human rights situation in Crimea and proposed to appeal to “all the sides” in order to allow observers to the annexed peninsula.
