Former Prime Minister Ion Chicu accused the current government of expelling professional people from state structures, and now even “Maia Sandu has realized that someone has to work.”
The reaction came after an announcement published today by the president urging people to join the government team, unimedia.info reports.
“It has been 3 months since Maia Sandu appointed her government. If any of them had read the Government Law and Government Regulations, they would have known that the Government is working on the basis of an Action Plan. To this day, there is no such plan. The government’s page contains an Action Plan of the Cabinet of Ministers approved in December 2019, exactly one month after the appointment of the government in which we worked together with our colleagues. For three months, Ma’a Sandu’s “cousins” cannot make a plan of action. What other implementation possibilities can we talk about?
Today is November 3, but not a word has been said about the draft annual budgets and fiscal policy. They are not even in the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy. How will the country live in 2022 without these important documents? How can business make plans?
Maia Sandu, go away! Professional people will not work with you. Professionalism and illiteracy cannot coexist,” commented Chicu.
