Moscow threatens Washington with a direct confrontation if it continues to supply arms to Ukraine. The Russian Foreign Ministry said there is a risk of a direct confrontation with the United States over the supply of weapons to Ukraine. This statement was made on Wednesday, June 1, by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov. According to Ryabkov, U.S. arms supplies to Ukraine, “no matter how Washington argues for them”, increase the risk of a direct clash between the United States and Russia. Moscow still insists it will achieve its “special operation” goals in Ukraine anyway. “The United States, at the head of a group of states, engagement in purposefully pumping weapons into the Kiev regime is obvious,” Ryabkov said. Earlier, U.S. President Joe Biden said that Washington would not supply Kyiv with long-range artillery rocket systems. According to media reports, the USA plans to provide Ukraine with a guided multiple-launch rocket system with a range of about 65 km. Корреспондент
