Moldova will organize a referendum in connection with the country’s accession to the European Union, said President Maia Sandu at a meeting with residents of the village of Răuţel, Falesti district. “Now our country is a candidate for EU membership. When we are closer and ready to join the EU, the country will hold a referendum to find out the wishes of citizens. It’s up to us, many countries have waited many years to join the EU.
