Ion Ceban, the capital’s mayor, announced today the creation of the National Alternative Movement Party.
During a briefing, the mayor specified that registration of the formation is underway and its program is being worked out, moldpres.md reported
“We want the changes that took place in the capital’s mayor’s office to spread throughout the country, so we decided to create this party. We want the development of Moldova, keeping the country neutral and on a European course. Citizens are waiting for an alternative. We are open to those who want to work to make things better. We started changes in Chisinau and we will continue them all over the country. We want Moldova to achieve European standards, because our citizens deserve this,” the Mayor said.
Ion Ceban was elected mayor of Chisinau on November 11, 2019. He was a candidate of the Socialist Party of the Republic of Moldova.
