Igor Grosu, the chairman of the Parliament, says that the statement by the Head of the ISS about a possible Russian invasion of Moldova in 2023 is argued by various current analyses. Grosu said that theoretically there is such a plan, but the authorities must monitor the situation and be ready for anything, reports tv8.md “The analyses are different, and Ukraine says that theoretically there is such a plan. Everyone can see that they are preparing for something. Joint trainings are taking place in Belarus as well. We have to follow the situation closely and be ready for anything. At the moment we do not see a direct threat of invasion. What Russia uses against us is a hybrid threat,” said Igor Grosu. The chairman of the Parliament claims that during the war, thanks to the assistance offered by Moldova to refugees, our country managed to prove itself well in the international arena and obtained the status of a candidate country for EU membership. “During these tragic events, our society and citizens proved themselves very well. “A small country with a big heart” – this is how Moldova proved itself. We got the status of EU candidate and we will move towards integration with the EU, – Grosu said.
