The law on separatism was passed in its final reading. The document provides for amendments to the Criminal Code with concepts that criminalize acts related to espionage and high treason crimes. Thus, the initiation, organization or creation of illegal information structures on the territory of our country will be punished, actualitati.md reports. At the same time, persons who incite others to commit actions detrimental to the sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, state security or defense of the Republic of Moldova will be criminally liable. The Criminal Code will be supplemented with a new corpus delicti, namely acts committed to secede a part of the territory of the Republic of Moldova, as well as the dissemination of information inciting such actions. Sixty PAS deputies voted for the bill in the second reading.
