Another high-ranking American military official is coming to Moldova. The U.S. Embassy in Chisinau reveals this is Brigadier General Patrick Ellis, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Operations Command of the U.S. Army in Europe and Africa, deschide.md reports. He is to arrive in our country this week to meet with his colleagues and visit the Bulboaca Training Center, which was co-funded by the United States. Recall that at the end of February, the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau reported about the visit to Moldova of the head of the U.S. Special Operations Command in Europe (SOCEUR), Major General Steven Edwards, who held meetings with the minister of defense and other focal points in the armed forces. At the same time, two weeks earlier, retired Major General Barre Seguin, director of the European Center for Security Studies, visited Chisinau to attend a Marshall Center alumni meeting. He also held several meetings with high-ranking Moldovan officials.
