The ANRE’s decision on new electricity tariffs was published in the Official Monitor. The tariff for Premier Energy customers will be 2.57 lei/kWh instead of 2.99 lei/kWh, rupor.md reports. FEE Nord customers will pay 3.2 lei/kWh instead of from 3.58 lei/kWh. Electricity supplier Premier Energy asked for a tariff of 2.69 lei/kWh, while FEE Nord asked for 3.37 lei/kWh. According to the ANRE, tariffs were reduced due to lower electricity purchase prices from the central supplier, lower costs for the provision of electricity distribution services regarding Premier Energy and due to tariff overruns registration regarding FEE Nord. This is the second electricity prices reduction within three months. In mid-April this year, electricity tariffs fell by about 5-6 per cent.
