State security and foreign policy institutions are considering several response options to Russia’s adversarial policy towards Moldova.
Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu said that, noting that it is necessary to make certain decisions regarding Moscow’s actions towards our country, tv8.md reports.
“The Russian Federation has been pursuing an adversarial policy towards Moldova for many years. We are talking about supporting separatism, illegal maintenance of Russian troops, embargo on Moldovan products, fruits, vegetables, wines.
“We saw several adversarial actions towards Moldova taken by the Russian intelligence service, I am referring to the SIS information. In order to respond to these actions, together with state security and foreign policy institutions, we consider several response options to Russia’s adversarial policy. When certain political decisions are made, we will make specific statements on this topic”, Popescu said on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Vilnius.
