A PAS MPs group registered a bill in Parliament to implement the prevention mechanism. The bill mainly concerns the Șor party and aims at imposing restrictions on its members and other similar parties, tv8.md reports. According to the legislative proposal, persons who held positions in the executive body of a political party recognized as unconstitutional at the time of the Constitutional Court’s decision, as well as persons who were on the alternative candidates’ lists of the respective party, cannot be elected for 3 years from the date of the respective decision. In addition, the bill provides that attributes of political parties recognized as unconstitutional cannot be used by other political parties, electoral blocs or other election contestants. The use of such attributes will be a reason for the State Services Agency to refuse a political party registration and for the Central Election Commission to refuse an electoral bloc or other election contestant registration.
