This decision was taken by the permanent national bureau of the Part of Action and Solidarity.
“At the same time, we reiterate our request to revoke the mandate received from PAS voters in the July 2021 parliamentary elections. PAS has adopted the fight against corruption as a core principle and will not tolerate such cases within the party,” the political formation said in a statement.

The statement followed news of airport searches in a corruption and bribery case against the MP’s daughter. The case concerns a criminal scheme involving the systematic levying of money from passengers to facilitate the illegal import or export of various goods from the country.
