Cyber Flood - 2024 strategic cyber simulation exercise was conducted at the government level at the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization.
The exercise allowed state agencies to practice decision-making processes for cyber crisis management.

The purpose of the exercise was to improve response to cyber incidents and strengthen crisis management skills under risk scenarios affecting national security. Participants proved the level of preparation and cooperation between authorities and government agencies and identified gaps to enhance the role of cyber security in Moldova.
The event also raised awareness of cybersecurity and defined roles, responsibilities and coordination mechanisms between relevant crisis management-related organizations.
The exercise was monitored by the e-Government Academy within the framework of the EU-Moldova Rapid Assistance Program in the field of cyber security in cooperation with the NATO-Moldova Professional Development Program.
