Scheduled training with reservists started in Moldova. It will last from 20 to 24 and from 27 to 31 May. The purpose of the training is to test reservists’ skills. Maneuvers participants will study military regulations and learn how to use the equipment and weapons of the National Army. Last year, reservist exercises were held in April, May, June and September. According to the Defense Ministry, the exercise is taking place in accordance with the law on the Armed Forces Reserve and the National Army training plan for 2024. According to the Armed Forces Reserve law, the category of reservists includes men between the ages of 18 and 60 who completed compulsory military service, served under contract, or graduated from a military department.
