According to the press release, the Council for the Promotion of Investment Projects of National Importance decided to revoke the authorization documents for television broadcasting and audiovisual services in respect of three companies. It took place because they were funded from dubious sources. We are talking about SRL „Telesistem TV” (Prima în Moldova, Accent TV), SRL „Archidoc Group” (Orizont TV) и SRL „Telestar Media” (Canal 2 и Canal 3). “They breached the Council’s requirement to provide full information by presenting details of only one bank account, while holding 5 and 8 other accounts in different banks. In each case, we identified transactions confirming affiliation with Plahotniuc-Șor group. The Council also decided to issue a final notice to 36 companies out of 88 that had earlier failed to respond to the request for necessary information,” the government said in a press release.
