Moldova Interpol Office Head Under Arrest for 30 days: He Does Not Admit Guilt

He also said that Țentiu would not plead guilty. ‘He gave evidence in court. Țentiu does not plead guilty to the incriminated offence. Therefore, I do not know whether this fact can be qualified as co-operation, according to the Prosecutor’s Office. In any case, the accused cannot be found guilty of committing a number of corrupt acts,’ the lawyer said. The head of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office said that Țentiu was being investigated for passive corruption on a particularly large scale in the interests of an organized criminal group. Veronica Dragalin refused to give information about the other three detainees in the same case and said that the institution would come back with details during the day.
