Broadcasting Licenses of Orhei TV and TV6 Revoked by the Authorities

The Council for the Promotion of Investment Projects of National Importance decided to revoke the license documents for TV broadcasting and audiovisual services from Media Resurse Ltd, the founder of Orhei TV and TV6 channels. According to the authorities, at the moment Media Resurse Ltd is subject to restrictions and bans by the bailiff and a ban on the alienation of the social part, applied by the decision of the State Tax Service. “After assessments, including the first phase, it became clear that Media Resurse Ltd is an affiliated company of Ilan Sor’s OCG, including an affiliate of sanctions-listed Chitoroaga Dumitru,” the Council’s decision reads. Earlier licenses were revoked from Telesistem TV Ltd (Primul în Moldova, Accent TV), Archidoc Group Ltd (Orizont TV) and Telestar Media Ltd (Canal 2, Canal 3).
