This was stated by Evgenia Gutul, the Bashkan of Gagauzia and the executive secretary of the bloc, infotag.md reports.
“We’re discussing this issue right now. Most likely, the congress will take place closer to autumn. It is also likely to be hold in the same place where the first two congresses were organized,” she said in an interview with the Russian newspaper Izvestia.
According to Gutul, “we will not be prohibited to organize this in Moldova, and it will not be safe in any case”.
“The pressure on me and on Gagauzia has increased after my meeting with Vladimir Putin. Therefore, I am sure that the blocking of our position will only increase,” she added.
In the spring of 2024, representatives of small opposition parties formed the Victory bloc at a congress in Moscow. It included members of the SOR party banned in Moldova, the Revival party, the Chance party and others. The executive committee of the bloc was headed by Ilan Sor.
