Ex-Prosecutor Victoria Furtună Enters Presidential Race

The Former anti-corruption Prosecutor said this on her Facebook page. ‘I am running for the presidential election as an independent candidate. I am sure that my professional knowledge and leadership qualities will bring peace, comfort and prosperity to our common home - the Republic of Moldova!’ she said on social networks, tv8.md reports. The former anti-corruption prosecutor resigned after she claimed she was restricted from accessing state secrets in an attempt to investigate alleged abuses by the Information and Security Service and the National Anti-Corruption Centre against judges beyond government’s control.
