Our Party Nominates Usatii as Candidate for the Presidency of Moldova

The Our Party’s National Council has unanimously nominated the formation’s chair, Renato Usatii, as a candidate for the presidential election. As part of the event at the Palace of the Republic, which gathered hundreds of people from all over the country, Renato Usatii took the stage to the music “Moldovans When They Gather” by Mihail Volontir. “I’ve chosen this song by Mihail Volontir because it reflects the real life of our people! We, Moldovans, know what joy and pain are, and that light and darkness are always by our side. I move forward to bring more light into the lives of our people, and those who spread darkness must answer for it,” Renato Usatii said, stiri.md reports. The Our Party chairman expressed his conviction that Moldova should be transformed into a presidential republic, where one leader is responsible for everything that happens in the country. “Moldova can only be saved through a rule of order in the interests of the state and responsibility to the citizens! Which puts fear on thieves, corruptors and traitors and returns freedom to citizens. I will be a president for businessmen, pensioners, doctors, teachers, youth and all ordinary citizens. But I will be a dictator for those who robbed and abused us all these years,” Renato Usatii stressed. He also stated that he is entering the presidential race to destroy the rotten system created over 30 years as head of state. “I want us to hold our heads high and no longer depend on the fancies of the West or the East. The mandate of the future president of the country should be about order, justice and welfare! I will make sure that parents and children in our country live like my parents and children,” Renato Usatii said. Also, the National Council of Our Party approved the composition of the initiative group, that will collect signatures for Renato Usatii’s candidacy.
